The major joint project of the municipalities in the Tampere region — a centralized wastewater treatment plant — is in its final stages. The massive €380 million investment has now moved into the testing phase. In mid-September, the first wastewater will be directed for treatment at Sulkavuori.

Jonna Leiniö, who works in assembly and warehousing at Finnchain Oy, has acquired her professional skills through practical work. She assembles scraper flights that are packed and shipped around the world. Her work requires precision, perseverance and good manual dexterity.

Ecotec is a very important distributor for Finnchain. In Spain, there are large international companies in the water sector. Through Ecotec, Finnchain started looking for alternative solutions for desalination plants.

Jussi Parantainen, who has worked for Finnchain Oy for almost 20 years, is a buyer who ensures that high quality is met. Ensuring competitiveness and security of supply requirements, among other things, accurate scheduling, real-time monitoring, supply chain optimisation and quality assurance.

Finnchain strengthens its position in Asia. We have signed a distributor agreement with InnovEng for the Singapore market.

Kimmo Kosunen, the Engineering Manager at Finnchain, leads a three-person design department. In addition to actual design work, he ensures close and efficient collaboration to guarantee daily success.

Together with our "sister company" FB Ketju we had a Sustainability Day as part of our owner Addtech's commitment to sustainability. The aim of the day was to deepen our staff's understanding of sustainability and related measures such as reporting and emissions monitoring.
