CLEARLY IN DAILY BASIS
As a warehouse and assembly worker, I am responsible for packing goods according to delivery lists, receiving incoming goods, and loading products onto trucks. I make sure that everything leaving is packed in suitable packages and every part, down to the screws, is included in the correct quantity. In addition, I assemble flights and help in chain assembly whenever needed.
CLEARLY AT POINT
I work in Rauma in the warehouse. In assembly, there are five permanent employees, each with our own strengths, and together we complement one another. We work flexibly so that we can assist and cover for each other.
Precision is emphasized in everything we do. I ensure that the right products, in the right quantities, and in the right materials are in the packages. I check the products before shipping to make sure they are intact, clean, and meet quality requirements. In this way, I am performing continuous quality control.

CLEARLY WITH EXPERIENCE
I started at Finnchain in January 2022. Previously, I worked in construction and as a security officer. Experience of construction work has been very useful in my current role – I am comfortable with tools and know how to use them. In both of my previous jobs, I also worked a lot with people, which is one of the best parts of my current work as well.

Technical know-how and manual skills are essential to perform the work safely and with quality. In warehouse and assembly work, occupational safety is emphasized, since the job involves using saws, cranes, a pneumatic chain-assembly machine, and large steel parts.
Good stress tolerance helps during busy times, and teamwork and communication skills are important in everyday work. Professional pride ensures high quality. English language skills and the ability to apply them are needed to communicate with drivers, especially when there isn’t always a common language.
