Sanna Järvelä IS CLEARLY THE BEST: “Multitasking in everyday life with tight schedules”
Sanna Järvelä is Finnchain's newest addition, having started in December 2024. At Finnchain, she is responsible for transportation and invoicing.
Sanna Järvelä is responsible for logistics and invoicing related to Finnchain Oy’s deliveries. The company’s newest team member has learned the ropes of the industry through thorough onboarding and the support of long-time colleagues. In the everyday life of strict schedules, multitasking skills are essential.
CLEARLY IN DAILY BASIS
I am responsible for logistics and invoicing. I closely follow the progress and departure schedules of projects so I can order transport at the right time or inform the customer when a project is ready for pickup. In invoicing, I prepare advance invoices according to contracts or issue invoices once goods have been dispatched.
CLEARLY AT POINT
I work at the Rauma office. I am part of the project management team, which also includes the chief operating officer, buyers, and the assembly supervisor. I collaborate closely with the assembly supervisor to obtain additional information related to packaging. I am also in daily contact with customers and freight forwarders, mainly by email, regarding delivery details.

CLEARLY WITH EXPERIENCE
I started at Finnchain in December 2024. Previously, I worked in documentation tasks and at a port operator’s traffic control center. Through that, I was already familiar with handling documents, as well as with containers and trucks, but there has still been a lot to learn.
I received good onboarding for my tasks, the company, and the industry. There are many seasoned professionals here who share valuable knowledge and expertise. By education, I am a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business, graduated in 2012 from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
CLEARLY FOR KNOWLEDGE
Both of my tasks require accuracy and strong schedule management. Invoices must be correct and transports must leave on time so that projects progress as planned. Success in the job requires calmness, multitasking skills, and self-management. I keep track of everything with my own Excel sheet. English skills are also essential, as we operate in a global environment and I communicate a lot with international customers.
