SEDIMENTATION
Finnchain scraper systems are originally developed for wastewater treatment and particularly for rectangular sedimentation tanks or clarifiers.
GRIT REMOVAL
Separation and removal of heavy inorganic solids, such as sand, gravel, and other mineral particles, is an essential step in wastewater treatment processes.
DAF DESALINATION
In Dissolved Air Flotation tanks pressurized air-saturated water is released into the flotation tank and thus large amount of fine air bubbles is created.

The Tampere Central Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed to treat wastewater from 360 000 residents in the Tampere region. Finnchain supplied scrapers for the sand separation, primary sedimentation, secondary sedimentation and grit removal.

Psyttalia, Athens Greece

Psyttalia is an island, situated near Athens historic harbour and functions as the centre of the city’s waste water system. Finnchain supplied 128 rectangular tank sludge scraper systems to the plant within one year. The installation was made just prior to the Athens summer Olympics 2004 and has been Europe’s largest single sludge scraper delivery.
