Finnchain Strengthens Sales Organization – Erkka Wartiainen Appointed as New Sales Manager

Finnchain is expanding its business and simultaneously strengthening its sales team. Erkka Wartiainen, an experienced sales professional, has joined the company as the new Sales Manager.

Sales Manager Erkka Wartiainen’s areas of responsibility will initially include the Nordic countries and the Middle East, and in the future, India, which holds significant potential. The company is also seeking growth in the Middle East, building on the foundation of previously completed individual projects.

Wartiainen brings a solid background in international sales, sales management, product management, and the service business.

"Finnchain appealed to me specifically because of its international nature, as the majority of its products are exported. The product is excellent, and working within environmental technology feels meaningful—keeping wastewater managed and the environment clean," Wartiainen says.

A Fast-Paced Start in the "Big Family"

Although Wartiainen has previously worked in larger organizations, he praises Finnchain’s agility and close-knit community spirit.

"As an organization, Finnchain is more compact than my previous workplaces. I enjoy being able to handle a diverse range of tasks. A smaller group is like a big family where everyone knows each other by their first names."

The first few weeks in the new role have been busy. Alongside orientation, the schedule has already included the IFAT trade fair in Germany and hosting international visitor groups in Rauma.
