Juha Snicker IS CLEARLY THE BEST: “Experience builds quality in assembly”

Alongside technical knowledge, Juha Sincker’s calm demeanor and commitment to quality control lie at the heart of delivering high standards.

Juha Snicker, Assembly Supervisor at Finnchain, has been with the company for 20 years. His extensive background in assembly, installation, and maintenance work has proven invaluable in his current leadership role. Alongside technical knowledge, his calm demeanor and commitment to quality control lie at the heart of delivering high standards.

CLEARLY ON A DAILY BASIS

My role includes assigning tasks to employees, providing instructions, and offering continuous guidance and support. I’m also responsible for project-specific packing lists and creating loading plans in line with transportation requirements. In addition, I’m involved in project management.

CLEARLY AT THE POINT

I work primarily at the warehouse in Rauma. In the assembly department, I work alongside five colleagues, with two installers joining us when they are not on-site. I spend about half of my time in assembly and the other half in project management. However, I’m not directly involved in hands-on assembly work myself.

CLEARLY WITH EXPERIENCE

I joined Finnchain in February 2005, so this year marks my 20th anniversary with the company. I started as an assembly worker and later moved into installation and maintenance, installing scraper systems across Finland. One particularly memorable project was the underground treatment plant in Kakolanmäki, Turku. I’ve been working as Assembly Supervisor since 2017.

CLEARLY FOR KNOWLEDGE

My extensive experience in assembly, installation, and maintenance provides a strong foundation for leadership. I know our products’ components, dimensions, and details inside out. This enables me to efficiently plan how and where each part should be packed. I also understand the demands and requirements of installation sites, allowing me to factor them in early during planning and packing. Common sense and calmness are key traits that help ensure high-quality outcomes.

CLEARLY FROM THE HEART

My job offers just the right amount of challenge. A large project might include up to 100 packages, so planning is essential – especially when packing goods into shipping containers where space is at a premium. The sense of success comes when a project is completed on the assembly side and the loading process goes according to plan.

CLEARLY THE BEST

Finnchain produces the world’s highest-quality scraper systems – built to last and continuously developed. Environmental responsibility is important to us – we are proud to be part of building a cleaner and more sustainable future. In assembly, we ensure quality through rigorous quality control, from surface treatment to final inspection.
