Finnchain’s office staff gathered at the seaside at Marina Vista to discuss the company’s current state and future opportunities in an inspiring atmosphere. The strategy day generated numerous concrete development ideas that will be directly reflected in the company’s future plans.

A large shipment left Rauma for Australia at the beginning of November. Thirty-six Finnchain scrapers will be installed at a desalination plant being built on the west coast of the country, near Perth.

At Finnchain, responsibility runs through everything – from daily practices to the entire supply chain. As Environmental Manager Jenina Ruohonen puts it, “these issues are already ingrained in all of us” – and the same applies to subcontractors.

Together with our "sister company" FB Ketju we had a Sustainability Day as part of our owner Addtech's commitment to sustainability. The aim of the day was to deepen our staff's understanding of sustainability and related measures such as reporting and emissions monitoring.
